Wedding dresses come in all sorts of styles, and the length of the dress and train are key elements. Here, the common terms for dress and train lengths are explained.
The length of all our dresses can be customised to suit your own individual preference.
Please think about what is going to be best for you – including practicalities such as dancing, moving about and visiting the bathroom. You can always add a bustle or wrist loop.
The longer the train the more difficult it is to manage, also heavier fabrics make heavier trains. Please note that all dresses with a train will be floor-length at the front.

Sweep Train
Approximately 15 to 30 centimetres from the back waist to the hem.
Light and elegant, the sweep train just brushes the floor and is ideal for modern, relaxed weddings or outdoor settings.
Court Train
Approximately 50 to 90 centimetres from the back waist to the hem.
A classic and timeless option that extends gently behind the dress, offering a refined look without being overly dramatic.
Chapel Train
Approximately 1.2 to 1.5 metres from the back waist to the hem.
Perfect for brides wanting a statement train that still feels practical, the chapel train adds romance and movement while remaining manageable.
Cathedral Train
Approximately 2.5 to 3 metres from the back waist to the hem.
The most dramatic and formal train length, designed to create a striking visual impact for grand ceremonies and traditional venues.
